The Peoples Page

You are a part of the history of Showdown.

Everybody below sent in their own photographs and their own memories of this hill. Open a name and you get their pictures and everything they wrote, in their words. If you have been up here, there is a space on this page with your name on it.

Dig through the drawer, the shoebox, the phone. Anything from this hill counts — a lift line in 1974, a first lesson last winter, a birthday on the deck. Every photograph you send goes into the Showdown history archive and onto this page, and the count here is the standing.

First
A season passA full winter on the hill, on us.
Second
A ShowupcardDays on the mountain whenever you can get here.
Third
$75 to the swag shopA gift certificate for the Showdown shop.

Counting closes on the last day of the 2026-27 ski season. Send them through the same form everybody else used — you can come back and add more any time, and they all add up.

They need to be photographs you own or are in. A tie goes to whoever has been coming the longest. Nothing goes on this page until you have ticked the media release on the form — and if you change your mind about anything here, say so and it comes down.
