- Spring 1960Hired from Sun Valley by Ski Lift, Inc. as executive director of Kings Hill; the Leader, reporting the ski club's spring banquet, named him as the man who would manage the slopes and direct the ski school the next winter
- Summer 1960With his helpers, cleared the fallen timber, logs and underbrush off the runs and burned it, cleared an intermediate area, moved the Poma and fixed up the lodge; the Tribune said the cleared runs would add several weeks to the season
- 3 December 1960Opened the ski school with Stub Gendreau, Lee Robinson, Carl Spinti and Ron Hall teaching: two-hour classes for $3, a whole day for $5
- January 1961Kings Hill opened midweek, on a Wednesday and a Friday as well as the weekend, with lessons from him as area director
